Blogging Hiatus

Everyone who has been following along for a while has surely realized that I haven’t been keeping up with Life with Elisabeth like I had planned to from the beginning. Turns out, running a blog isn’t easy! With all different types of life happening, my blog just wasn’t the first priority. I needed some time away so I could come back feeling refreshed!
Back in May, I hit the one year mark of officially being a blogger! During that year, I learned so much more than I could have imagined about social media, algorithms, writing, and even about myself. It’s been a crazy year! When I first started blogging, my job wasn’t pushing me to the fullest potential and I had so much more time on my hands. I was taking any free class I could find, listening to podcasts and tutorials, and reading as much as I possibly could on how to be successful as a blogger. I started realizing I was going to have to put more money into the classes and into the extras if I really wanted to make it and that just wasn’t something I was ready to do just yet.
In October, I got a new job. Then in December, I moved. In February I got another new job and now in August we’ve moved again. Oh, and you guys already know I’m planning a wedding for next Spring! All of these things have been more important and just higher on the list of priorities. So the posts have been more scarce and likely the content has been disappointing.
Basically, in this post, I just wanted to give a brief update and share that I’m back! I’ve been working on new content for a little while now and I’m excited to share with you what I’ve got coming. Life with Elisabeth wasn’t a priority.  And that’s okay! There’s nothing wrong with putting something on the back burner for a little while until you’re 100% ready to commit. As long as you pick it back up stronger than before, ready to dominate it all, take that time. Refresh yourself. Come back better than ever. I’m refreshed and ready to start new!
Who’s excited?
